At the launching of the Blue Book on Rule of Law in Cyberspace (2018), presided over by Professor Ling Bin of Peking University, Professor Zhi Zhenfeng, a research fellow at CASS Law Institute and the editor-in-chief of the Blue Book on Rule of Law in Cyberspace (2018), gave an introduction to the blue book and the process of its compilation. He pointed out that the blue book focuses on the major progresses made and main problems faced by China in the field of cyber rule of law, advocates problem-centered monographic researches, and encourages pragmatic countermeasure suggestions, with a view to participating in the development of practices, improving institutions, and upgrading theories in this field. It is a panoramic, full-cycle, and omni-bearing recording and study of main progresses and problems in the development of cyber rule of law in China, which leaves a faithful record for future generations and opens a widow to China for foreigners.
At the seminar that followed, the participants gave speeches and carried out discussions on the publication of the Blue Book on the Cyber Rule of Law (2018) and the Textbook of E-commerce Law and various issues relating to the rule of law in cyberspace.
